GovExec story on the Information Dominance Center

Filed under: Intelligence and Info-Sharing,Technology for HLS — by Christian Beckner on December 8, 2005

This feature story (from Shane Harris at GovExec) on the Information Dominance Center at Ft. Belvoir shines a ray of clarity into the whole Able Danger controversy and its connections to more recent data mining activities such as TIA. And it provides a good case study of the promises and perils of data mining and data analysis for homeland security and counterterrorism.
