Pandemic flu preparedness: a personal guide

Filed under: Biosecurity,Preparedness and Response — by Christian Beckner on January 7, 2006

The Dept. of Health and Human Services keeps up the good work at pandemicflu.gov, releasing guidelines yesterday for personal preparedness for the pandemic flu. This follows on guidelines released in December that explain what states and cities and also businesses need to do to prepare.

These new guidelines (in PDF here) are well-written and easy to understand, full of common sense and frank details about what people should be doing today to prepare for this contingency. They’re worth a read.
