Canadian elections: the impact on homeland security

You wouldn’t know it from a quick glance at CNN’s website right now (6pm EST), but Canada is having national elections today; preliminary results should start to be posted after 10pm EST.

In the meantime, I’d like to call your attention again to a post from two weeks ago, where I analyzed the potential implications of these elections in terms of Canada’s domestic security capabilities and US-Canadian cooperation on issues of homeland security. It’s here.
