		<description>I am glad that Americans are doing this. Security is too important to be left to politicians. 

On a related issue, why aren&#039;t security agencies publicizing the fact that there are radioprotective supplements like n-acetylcysteine that could help protect people from gamma radiation if we suffered nuclear terrorism? (they protect mitochondrial integrity)

This isn&#039;t rocket science. People should be encouraged to take them (they for the most part are quite safe) and they could also be stockpiled. (in addition to iodine to help prevent against thyroid cancer)</description>
