These issues appear to be maintenance related. It is a corporate shortcoming in looking at short term expenses vs. long term profitability. Because of the ever improving technology integrating throughout our society, the people performing maintenance are required to be more intelligent, contuinually educated, and dedicated to their jobs. Employers do not want to pay the cost for these types of employees and the training required. Subsequently, equipment fails, processes stop.

It would surprise you if you knew the condition of the ventilation system providing you the air that you are breathing in at work each day. I can say with near certainty that the professionals who maintain that system would like to do a better job. In the name of profitability, they are not allowed to do so.

I agree that our cities, state's and nation's infrastructure as been ignored far too long. It should be a priority on most levels, especially as a Homeland Security issue.
