Below is a list of homeland security policy events in the DC area next week (as well as the occasional listing outside of DC). Please note that many events require prior invitations and/or RSVPs.

12/13-12/14: Commission on the National Guard and the Reserves hearing on “Proposals to Strengthen and Elevate Role of National Guard in Military Hierarchy.” Rayburn 2212.

12/13: Georgetown U. Law Center event with Sen. Patrick Leahy on the agenda for the Senate Judiciary Committee in the 110th Congress. 600 New Jersey Ave NW, 11:30am.

12/15: Heritage Foundation event on “Competitive Technologies for National Security Policy: Obstacles and Options for Staying Ahead.” 214 Massachusetts Ave NE, 12 noon.
