An additional thought concerning screening! It would increase HS and protect the traveling public if travelers were also screened for environmental contamination before boarding or when entering or leaving the country. The sunk costs of screening are huge when and if the current and proposed systems work so why not add the minor additional cost of health and environmental screening. And of course DHS has to do this anyway to be prepared to deal with crisis management in large-scale events where environmental contamination and access and egress to contaminated areas will be required. Note that the Nuclear Power industry has long been the lead in Portal Monitor deployments for radiological contamination.
