Congress continues its spring recess through Monday, April 20.

Monday, April 13

Jury selection begins in trial of Oussama Abdullah Kassir

World Health Care Congress opens in Washington D.C.

Secretary Napolitano visits the Port of Los Angeles/Long Beach

Tuesday, April 14

Army War College Conference on Strategists Examine Technology’s Impact on National Security (continues through 16th)

Wednesday, April 15

Secretary Napolitano will make site visits to US ports of entry in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona

Thursday, April 16

President Obama leaves for Mexico.  He will then travel on to Trinidad and Tobago to attend the Summit of the Americas.

Friday, April 17

The Red River is expected to crest at between 38 to 40 feet at Fargo. (The record-setting March 28 crest was 40.6 feet.)
