Monday, April 20
9:00 am (mountain): Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee will hold a field hearing in Phoenix, Arizona on southern border violence.
RSA Conference opens in San Francisco. Continues through Friday at the Moscone Center.
Tuesday, April 21
10:00 am (eastern): House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigation will conduct a hearing on the August 28 explosion and fire at Bayer Cropscience .
10:30 am (eastern): Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, subcommittee on State, Local and Private Sector Preparedness and Integration holds a hearing on counternarcotics.
12:45 (eastern): Secretary Napolitano will address the Anti-Defamation League National Leadership Conference, Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, Washington D.C. (This is a correction)
Wednesday, April 22
10:00 am (eastern): Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs will consider the nominations of Craig Fugate, FEMA administrator, John Morton, ICE Assistant Secretary; Ivan Fong DHS General Counsel; and Tim Manning, FEMA Deputy Administrator for National Preparedness.
National Conference on Emergency Communications opens in Chicago. Continues through Friday.
4:00 pm (eastern) AEI seminar on high skilled immigration.
Thursday, April 23
11:00 am (eastern) The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee will hold a hearing on An Independent Fema. (Relevant prior posting)
Friday, April 24
Sometime this week we are likely to hear about final — or close to final — reports on the cybersecurity review and the HSC review set out by PSD-1.
