“Terrorism has entered a new and dangerous phase,” says the 9/11 Commission

Filed under: General Homeland Security — by Christopher Bellavita on July 22, 2014

From their press release:

This morning, the members of the 9/11 Commission, led by Chairman Tom Kean and Vice Chairman Lee Hamilton, released a new report reflecting the evolving and dangerous terrorist threat facing the nation. Ten years after the release of the commission’s original report, with mounting threats from the resurgence and transformation of al Qaeda, the situation in Syria and a rapidly changing cyber landscape, the commission’s new report calls for a vigorous and proactive counterterrorism effort. The report comes from the Bipartisan Policy Center and the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania, which reconvened the 9/11 Commissioners to develop their updated recommendations.

While I and many others concur with well respected Chair Tom Kean and of course the esteemed Lee Hamilton, this evening I ponder just why a cyber security bill with muster is taking far too long to be drafted and passed by both sides of the aisle and in addition, the question remains as to where the appropriations of monies are when we saw barry Obama sending the his pals, the Muslim Brotherhood billions and we need here on “Main Street USA” have little assurance to each of us and our families from this obviously self-serving government who we “entrusted” in each of you as duly elected officials sworn to – enforce laws and uphold the Constitution and keep our nation safe from harm and foreign invader as well as the Enemy from within – that our electric power grid is certainly far less vulnerable as present….

….yet what is deeply troubling this evening and in thinking about Homeland Security and especially Barry Obama and his “Chicago-Hollywood-Washington charade” again wondering where Barry Obama is this evening for we saw him rush to Cairo and apologize to the Muslims, but his silence speaks volumes after an 1800 year old Christian church was burnt to the ground over the wknd and ISIS and many terrorists continue their rampage against Christians, taking their property, booting them out of homes whose families resided hundreds of years before any Muslims and even killing Christians reported doubling in this figure just this past year….

…and this evening, like many others, Barry Obama and his silence continues towards such savagery and brutality by so many factions of Muslims, not only against the Hebrew, but rekindling of this outright intolerance of others and outright murder of Christians globally!

Barry Obama, again, not to be seen other than in nine cities campaigning these next ten days or so and then off here to Cape Cod and martha’s Vineyard for a vacation….

I still contend that Barry Obama and his only real pledge to Hussein Obama and his anti-Christian and anti-colonialist Kenyan pals is the only real commitment Barry Obama has pledged and We as a nation and more importantly Europe, are in for much challenge ahead and of course as Biblical verse professes, the rising tide soon against Islam by a strongly led EU by Germany and as I have stated for so, so long, War looms head and it is so unfortunate that humanity has little Respect for one another and particularly Life with God witness to all, whether Muslim or Christian, Hebrew or Buddhist or other!

God Bless us all!

Homeland Security Governor perry, you betcha the National Guard and it is your and all or our responsibility to assure that our nation is buttoned up in all ways to better prepare ourselves for the coming global turmoil never to be seen before despite past battles between Christians and Muslims and given our Judeo-Christian values, it is imperative that We stand shoulder to shoulder with Christians and Muslims here in our nation to convey a deeper understanding and Respect of one another choices and to demand Respect by one to the other and to stand as well with Christians everywhere against the most extreme Muslims who have little tolerance for any and all Christians no matter where and it is also up to the Muslim community to stand NOW and speak out against ISIS and others who attack Christians and murder them and burn their churches for they, too have a right to their choice in religious freedom and have had such for thousands of years….

Where is Barry Obama, well he sure ran to Cairo to appease the Muslims, to bow and kiss the ring of another sovereign nation however this evening, his silence continues and to me he is nothing more than an anti-Christian and ill intentioned when it comes to our beloved republic, our values and our Constitution and he has made this very clear!

Some overlap with the previous posting:

“Congress has proved resistant to needed reforms. In 2004, the Department of Homeland Security reported to 88 committees and subcommittees of Congress. We urged Congress to dramatically reduce that number. Incredibly, it has since increased to 92. This fragmented oversight detracts from national security by impeding the department’s development. Nor has Congress reformed its system for appropriating funds for the National Intelligence Program, leaving control over the intelligence budget similarly fragmented. Congress has passed numerous laws requiring executive branch agencies to implement far-reaching reforms, yet it has stubbornly refused to change its duplicative and wasteful oversight system.” (p.8)
